The "domaine de la Chapinière" covers a vast stony plateau well-situated on the Southern bank of the Cher river.
The Estate overlooks the village of Châteauvieux and faces the old castle from which visitors can see the prefectly aligned rows of Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Gamay, Cabernet Franc ... and the famous Côt Garnon vines. Each grape variety grows and ripens under the warm sun of Touraine region located about 200 miles South of Paris. The Estate today is made up of 25 hectares of clay-with-flints.
